Yahel Social Change Fellowship is a 9-month MASA-affiliated fellowship run by Yahel Israel that immerses Jewish young adults in the work of building a more just Israeli society from within the communities that need it most. Based in Lod, Rishon LeZion, and Haifa, fellows are embedded in local community organizations serving Ethiopian Israeli, Arab Israeli, immigrant, and refugee populations — teaching, organizing, building programs, and developing relationships that cross every cultural and religious boundary in Israeli society. As Yahel's flagship long-form program, the Social Change Fellowship is designed for participants who want not just to visit Israel but to understand and change it — spending nine months doing the grassroots work that defines progressive Zionism at its most concrete.
