Our Story
Built by a Jewish parent,
for Jewish parents.
Israel Prepaid was born from a simple belief: every Jewish child deserves to experience Israel — and every family deserves the financial certainty to make it happen.
Meet the Team
Joe Sharp
Co-Founder
Joe Sharp serves as Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Israel Prepaid, where he leads the company's operational strategy, business development, customer experience, and strategic partnerships throughout North America.
After more than thirty years in executive leadership, Joe now advises mission-driven organizations while dedicating a significant portion of his time to building Israel Prepaid. His decision to become a co-founder reflects his conviction that Israel Prepaid is more than a financial planning platform, but rather an opportunity to help more Jewish families invest in meaningful Israel educational experiences and, in doing so, strengthen Jewish continuity for generations to come.
Prior to joining Israel Prepaid, Joe served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Jewish Leadership Academy in Miami, where he helped build the school's financial and operational infrastructure from its earliest stages. Throughout his career, he has partnered with boards, executive teams, and founders to guide organizations through periods of growth, strengthen operations, and translate vision into lasting results.
Together with his fellow founders, Joe is helping build Israel Prepaid into a trusted resource for families planning transformative Israel educational experiences. He is leading the company's growth throughout North America, developing relationships with schools, synagogues, camps, youth organizations, and community partners while ensuring that every family receives exceptional personal service from their first conversation through their child's return home.
Joe believes that a Jewish family's connection to Israel is one of the most meaningful investments it can make. Through Israel Prepaid, he is helping build a company that makes transformative Israel educational experiences more financially accessible, gives families greater confidence as they plan for the future, and creates opportunities for more young people to build lasting connections with Israel, the Jewish people, and their heritage.

Uri Goldenberg
Co-Founder
When Uri found out he was going to be a father, his mind went straight to Israel. Not just as a destination — but as the formative experience he'd spent over 20 Birthright trips helping thousands of young Jewish adults discover for the first time. He'd seen what that connection does to a person. He wanted it for his child.
But Uri also knew what his finance background told him. With an M.S. in Finance from the University of Florida and years in investment banking, he ran the numbers on what Israel programs would cost by the time his child was old enough to go. The picture wasn't pretty. Program costs were rising 3–5% a year, and most families had no dedicated way to prepare.
So he built the solution he wished existed: a simple, dedicated way for Jewish families to plan ahead. Lock in today's program rates. Invest the funds conservatively. Guarantee full coverage — regardless of what inflation does over the next 10, 15, or 20 years.
“I didn't want any Jewish parent to have to choose between their budget and their child's connection to Israel. That's why I built Israel Prepaid.”

Eyal Goldenberg
Co-Founder
Eyal Goldenberg is an entrepreneur with a passion for building businesses that create lasting impact for families and communities. Throughout his career, he has founded and led ventures across the wellness, healthcare, finance, and insurance sectors, always with a focus on solving real-world challenges through innovative and practical solutions.
Born in Israel, Eyal spent much of his childhood in South Florida before returning to Israel as a teenager. Growing up in both countries gave him a unique appreciation for the relationship between Israel and Jewish communities around the world. The warmth, unity, and strong sense of Jewish identity he experienced within the American Jewish community left a lasting impression and inspired a lifelong commitment to strengthening that connection for future generations while helping preserve Israel's Jewish identity and values.
Eyal has spent years helping families plan for the future, manage financial risk, and make confident long-term decisions through finance and insurance. That experience became the foundation for Israel Prepaid.
For Eyal, Israel Prepaid is more than a financial platform. It is a mission to help ensure that every Jewish family has a practical way to prepare for these life-changing experiences while preserving the enduring bond between Israel and Jewish communities around the world for generations to come.
Today, Eyal leads Israel Prepaid's long-term vision, strategic partnerships, and global growth, working alongside educators, community leaders, and organizations to make Israel more accessible to the next generation.
