Shnat Netzer Olami is a seven-month MASA-affiliated Israel gap year offered by Netzer Olami, the worldwide youth movement of the World Union for Progressive Judaism. Based on decades of Reform Jewish youth movement education, the program brings together young adults from Reform congregations across North America, Europe, South Africa, and Australia for an immersive Israel experience grounded in pluralism, tikkun olam, and egalitarian Jewish practice. Participants live as an intentional community, study Hebrew, serve Israeli organizations, and explore Israel through a progressive Zionist lens.
