Masa Israel Teaching Fellows (MITF) – Tel Aviv–Rahat Full Time is a MASA-affiliated program run by BINA: The Jewish Movement for Social Change, placing Jewish young adults as full-time English teaching assistants in Rahat — the largest Bedouin city in Israel and one of the country's most distinctive communities. This 10-month full-time program offers fellows one of Israel's most culturally unique teaching experiences: working in Bedouin schools, connecting with families whose traditions predate the modern state, and contributing real English education to a community undergoing rapid growth and transformation. Fellows return with an understanding of Israel that few Americans ever gain.
